Beschreibung

The famous American Excelsior motorcycle was produced by the Excelsior Motor Manufacturing Company of Chicago, Illinois from 1907 until 1931.

Presented Excelsior was made in 1920 (according the production list) or 1921 according the documents. It is well maintain Model 61 (1000ccm) with three gears gearbox.

Offered from a private collection, this Excelsior motorcycle combination will require restoration before returning to the road. The engine turns over (with compression and spark), while the sidecar frame (left side) appears structurally sound and belongs to that model. The sidecar boat is made from wood.
